My personal friend, and Karnac regular, Palmbayer (also known as John Gross) will be (from what I’ve heard) the announcer this week at OSW.
John isn’t shy in front of a mic, knows the timing that a good announcer SHOULD
have, and has the knomledge and history of this area to present an exciting & INFORMATIVE night at the races.
I hope a bunch of people give both OSW, and Palmbayer a chance.

Like so many of us, John is a lifelong fan, and has lots of local knowledge. Best of all, he talked for a living and is right at home with a mic. He will be great at it, so have fun bro!
I’m being NASCAR’d to death at the moment - which is a good thing - so I can’t make the weekly commitment right now…
Where is Westerman? He IS the Voice of OSW!
I don’t think there are any plans to ‘replace’ Dave. He can’t make it, John is a GREAT candidate as a fill in.
Give him a chance & this could turn out to be very good for ball the fans.
Both have knowledge, history, and humor.
Palmbayer will do a great job… and Westerman will be back too… as long as the buffet line holds out…
