Golden Gate Speedway Reunion Oct. 13

jmmy fager told me I had to go online about the golden gate reunion,as every one had lots of questions.it will be 10-13-13,at the big top flea market on fowler,former site of the speedway.we will be there at 8:00 and,and linda grimm,darlene smith,and my daughter keri will be there to sign everyone in.drive down walker road,and pull into the driveway that was he former pit road,and they will be under the same trees that have been there for years.we will be on the n.e.part of the property,which is a very nice manicured field now.chad freeman,with the re-restored bill roynon 9 will be there,cush revette plans on bringing his ‘57 chevy crown 7,and gene and james adler will have the jack Arnold 84 mustang there.hopefuly,fred Strickland will bring the smith 80 and the tanner/degado 1,as well if we can get the crouse 15 there as well.i would like to put these cars on display on the south where I plan to put a golden gate speedway reunion sign.randy Henderson and ricky smallwood plan to have their models display.at 2:00,mean gene adler,of the racin’ round up tv show will host the proceedings,health withstanding.we will start by introducing the former employees still with us,and then bringing everyone up to introduce them,or a relative of a deceased racer.now here’s the do’s and dont’s.DO bring any photo albums,memoribilia,a table to put it on display to share with everyone.this is priceless memories that w all embrace although the weather should be mild,bring your canopys,lawn chairs,or grills.however,big top has some excellent food courts that I would encourage everyone to patronize as the big top has welcomed us there with open arms.charlie will let the vendors know we will be there,and say you’re at the reunin,you should get a break in price.also,many have expressed a desire o bring their current cars,but with the size of today’s rigs,that might be a problem,as fager said,he thinks this might be bigger than we expected.if you bring your current car,please park it on the hard roads.now for the no-no’s.being this s a flea market,w can’t have any commercial activities their,including bbq rigs,sorry,bear.if you have anything or memorabilia to sell,get a phone number and do it on your time.we are not here to make money,but to celebrate our past.one last thing,i need your help in.if you have a golf cart,mule,or whatever,we need help in transportation as I would like for everyone to sign the sign with a sharpie,and when you’re 5-plus,it’s hard to get around.sorry for being so late,but my computer has been down for 3 weeks.looking forward to seeing you all their,and thanks.cawidepen@aol.com.cuban,gon,ad please share this message.
