Parrish, Jeffrey Parrish, Jeffrey L., Orlando, Fl (53) Died 12/13/2013. He is survived by his wife Cynthia Meyer Parrish. Jeff Parrish was a 21-year employee of the City of Winter Park as Director of Fleet Maintenance. He was an avid fan of auto racing and participated himself in stock car racing. A service for friends and family will be held Wednesday, December 18, at 6:30 p.m. at Collison’s Howell Branch Funeral Home, 3806 Howell Branch Rd., Winter Park. I remember Jeff well, his racing buddy Bob Starr bought the #44 super stock I built , I helped them out at the track when ever I could , sorry for his family’s loss at such a young age .

Jeff was a great friend, he helped me race the red #05 superstock in the 2003-04 seasons. When I bought my new superstock #40, Jeff started driving the 05. He drove it loose and wild. Mainly because he wouldn’t buy new tires, he didn’t care if the tires were 2 years old, as long as they held air, he’d keep racing on them. He held that car together with duct tape, tie straps, and bailing wire. He loved every minute on track, even if he was mid pack. He actually did win 1 feature race, and that trophy was on display tonight at his funeral service. He will be greatly missed.
