As I’m watching the end of the Nationwide race, I’m thinking …well, Kyle Busch is stinking up the show again. Then we get a late caution, and Chase Elliot puts one one of best shows i’ve seen in a while. If anyone is questioning whether this kid is the real deal…question answered.
I missed the race but saw the results. The next 8 finishers were all past or present Cup drivers. He beat the best of the best. I’ve been watching his progress for a few years and have no doubt onf his skill. The next few years the Cup series should see a batch of really good young drivers moving into the series. If NASCAR was smart, they’d find a way of marketing that. Larson, the Dillon boys, Elliott, Blaney, Kenseth, and I don’t know who else I’ve forgotten. It might be good enough to get me watching again.
