Sad News for the TBARA - Bobby Rose Passes

Sad to report that long time TBARA competitor Bobby Rose passed away suddenly Sunday from a massive heart attack. Bobby was a familiar sight with the TBARA in his yellow #56, particularly at the bigger tracks like New Smyrna Speedway and the Panhandle tracks, and also the tracks closer to his base in Lake County. This year he began putting his son Blake behind the wheel of his car and the young man has been quite impressive. That’s all the info I have right now…

OMG! The Rose family is a great racing family. Tommy and his wife are great friends and wonderful people. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the Rose family. Gods speed Bobby.

Your friend always Fred Coxon.

Sad news indeed, and very unexpected. We raced together a few times, and Bobby was such a friendly guy. I know he had to be beaming with pride at the way his son Blake took to driving sprint cars! I’m really sorry that he is gone, but at least he went out after seeing the next generation climb in and take off.

Sincere condolences to Tommy, Blake and all the family.
