According to the VSP FB page the new start time is 8pm for the duration of the season.
Good call. These summers cook the hell out of that track. He rain delay last week was the best thing that could’ve happened to the track conditions.
For tracks that don’t have curfew rules, that sounds like a very good idea. As long as the track makes sure the program moves along quickly ( some tracks could even cut down on the number of classes they run ), the racers and the fans don’t have to kill themselves to get to the track at 6:30. And yes, the temps would be a lot better at 8PM. Good thinking VSP.
