The Joey Coulter Pro-Truck Series rolls into Citrus County Speedway Saturday Night !
6-23-14 Orlando FL. - The Joey Coulter Florida Pro-Truck series rolls into the Citrus County Speedway Saturday night for race 5 of the 15 race schedule and the second stop of the season at the Inverness FL. track. Current point leader Becca Monopoli took down the win in that first event.
The series, sponsored by Fellows Truck Brokers of Winterhaven, has a tight points championship going, after the last race at Desoto Speedway back on June 7th. Monopoli hold the points lead with 102 pts. Steve Darvalics who grabbed the win at Desoto has moved up into the second spot with 86 pts. Brent Huber hold third with 85 pts. Chad Chastain a winner at the season opener slid back to fourth with 81 pts after a broken drive shaft at Desoto. Cody McDuffie holds fifth with 56 points. Tommy Caveney 52, Phil Ellis 50, Rodney Haddock 48, Dylan Martin 43 and Mica Williams with 40 pts wound out the top ten.
A solid field of trucks is expected with a few new divers indicating they will be running with the series this weekend. Along with the top ten in points others expected are Danny Anderson, Dave Pletcher, Sam Scott, Jessica Murphy, Cole Partelo, Raymond Lovelady, Donnie Burkhalter, William Fuller and others.
