Nice to see Michael Self added to the list, that guy can wheel a race car

Bobby Good is confirmed. Car is ready. Brandon Booth will not be ready. Spoke to him today.

Hey Frassy, what is the schedule for the big shindig in the parking lot since it’s a two day show now… You gonna be there both days?

Scratch Will Kimmel in the 12… replace with Brian Finney behind the wheel. The formerly white 12 is now a flat black car. Long story behind that move.

Far as I know Dave it’s one day only. Sunday before, during, and after the G/C race…

Hmmm, maybe Steve Wallace would be a good replacement for (you know who)… :sprachlos020:

I LOVE it Jim… the “what lap does Wallace wreck someone else” pool…!

According to the latest Circle Track magazine Will Kimmel will be piloting the magazine’s “Project Super Late Model” car at the Governor’s Cup. It is a black #69 Fusion with sponsorship from Accel. They planned on testing at Salem in preparation. Circle Track magazine is based in Tampa.

I was told that Accel just went through a buyout, and new owners pulled the plug on the racing program. … including Will Kimmel. Their sponsorship of the 12 had the condition that the car be painted black, so it was painted. It was after the paint job that the team found out that no sponsor check was coming. Thus, the color & driver change happened quickly and recently.

Damn Jerry, you always have the inside scoop! Cool that Finney is still going to field the car though.

I’m friends with car owner Kenny Edwards. He and his brother Ronnie make up RK Edwards Inc.

Definitely a solid source. I wonder what happened to the Circle Track project car? I believe it was fielded out of the same shop as Kimmel and Lira’s ARCA rides. See ya after the Sportsman race!
