The races for tomorrow are canceled at Citrus County Speedway. We are trying to save the Pro-Truck and regular drivers costs, as there is a high rain chance, specially from 4-7 p.m. tomorrow. We will announce a reschedule date for the trucks this next week after looking at other tracks schedule and trying to use one of the open dates we had on our schedule already. There will still be an open practice tonight at the speedway 6-10 p.m. $10 per person with open concessions, but races for tomorrow are canceled. Thanks
Nothing about this post makes sense.
Hope this helps!
Citrus County Speedway cancelled their racing for Saturday night.
They did it because there is a high chance of rain
They want to save racers spending money showing up to a show to have it rained out
They will reschedule the Coulter Truck Series race
There will still be practice tonight and the concession stand will be open selling food
Thank you

Your explanation is even worse. How is partly sunny and 35-40% chance of rain high? Wouldn’t it cost teams to show up tonight to practice? It’s Florida…i was born and raised there, i know how the weather can be, Towed many a days to the track in the rain and raced that night. Some nights rained out.
What happened to the racers that showed up regardless? today’s babies need pampered and their decisions made for them.
Don’t say cost either. If it is too expensive take up crochet.
I’m Not being mean…love the track and wish only the best for it. Had many good times there.
With Citrus canceling due to possible rain, Bronson was in line to clean up.
Nope, Bronson canceled late Friday too… SMH …

Great call for all…
Yelp, the Tracks made the right move (smart move) to save the racers money and the fans stress. Choose your battles and you may come back to fight another day… Mother Natures fury is tuff. Everyone needs to support the track so they can survive. As it is hard to take it’s on the backs of the racers. They need to beat the bushes and help get support in the sport they love. Remember without tracks your garage trophy isn’t very valuable… Again choose your battles and bring your best game (support). Good luck to all…
LOL. Florida racetracks never stop giving me something new to ridicule. As of right now the highest chance of rain in that zip code is only 38% - at 4pm. And then it tapers right off.
Personally I’m glad they did and did it early. I planned on going to citrus and now I don’t have to waste my day trying to figure out if it was worth the risk of the 2 hour pull.
AAAAAANNNNNNDDDDDDDDD…it isn’t raining. Nor has it other than maybe a tiny shower, if that.
** DISCLAIMER** This is from Intellicast current future and past weather observations for today. i looked at radar and saw a (patch) of green go somewhere in the vicinity of the track…
wow
wow is all I can say?.
You’ve been reduced to one word? That’s good news!!
