There will be about 5 cars for the figure 8, maybe 4 karts, and 3 hornets. But, hey, it’s racing.

Will the Big Wheel kids be checked for soaked tires?

By the way, the biggest response I have EVER heard from a speedway grandstand was for a Big Wheel race. They went wild! It was at Sunshine/Showtime in 1979 or so.

I counted 11 classes. The big wheel class may have the biggest field.

Whatever the gate is, I will gladly pay an extra $2 if they run the events as follows:

  1. Mod heat(s)
  2. Mod Feature
  3. Sprint heat(s)
  4. Sprint Feature

Put Old School in charge of the events schedule and I might consider going.

SS and PS put on one hellava show there when they have car count.

But mix up your schedule to let the guys work on their cars for the 1st 4 events. LOL

One of the things I like about Citrus is their early start time, but I think I would show up late just to skip about half of those classes. :confused:

I also think this is a lot of classes. However, people come here complaining about no one in the grandstands. Give the kids a reason to come and want to race a car when they get older. When they become 13.

It seems like Citrus can only count on 5 or less cars per class these days. So the only way to make money from the back injector is to keep inventing more and more classes. 5 cars X 5 classes = not much…but… 5 cars X 11 classes = more

At least the heat/sun ball will be less of an issue.
