The hardest thing to do in owning a race track is to get a real feel on how many racers will show. Yoho put up a GREAT purse with a $10,000 BONUS based on a 26 OWM field (over 70 OWM in the State it should of been a given )!!! Well for some unknown reason of logic they only had 19 take the green. I heard two lost engines in Friday practice. The 100 lapper was one HELL-of-a-RACE!!! The top 5 inverted for the start. Robert put down a traction grip on the track creating a second groove. It was side by side for much of the race. Doug Moff was 3rd fast, but got punted trying not to run over another car that slipped (Doug has the worst luck at ST). He did one great job of driving from the back of the field putting on a show of his own. BBBBUT the high light that will be remembered was #61 Wayne Jefferson try a 3 wide move and spun himself out. With the bit in his teeth (you could feel something SPECIAL was about to happen) and the FIRE in his EYES!!! He drove through the field to a fine second. Devon McLoud #21 held off for his second WIN!!! The rest of the races were also two wide. The Street Stock saw #5 Cody Colbter drive his right rear tire off in a side by side battle with Division points leader and his brother #11 Billy Billy. The win was by inches. He told Cody before the race with the second groove were you normally hit the brakes count one and turn in. B&E Auto also Won the Mini Stocks (sorry you need to look up the Driver name) and Jason (our Newbie Racer in his Mod Mini #7) started 10th and drove his best race yet to 3rd. It was a B&E night at the races. Good crowd drank Sangria, supported the Animal Shelter Night. All in all hard work produce a night in the green, but you never know how many racers will show. If it could would it of. DAMN we will never know. Till next time. See yah soon!!! Please support your Tracks!!!
