Good Run for Jeremy Gerstner

My buddy Jeremy Gerstner had his best ever finish in NASCAR Modified competition Saturday night at Bowman-Gray Stadium taking third place… The only guy from FL in a star-studded field… Way to go! Here’s the results:

Pos # Driver Laps

1 65 Danny Bohn 199
2 6 Ryan Preece 199
3 15 Jeremy Gerstner 199
4 1 Burt Myers 199
5 74 Bobby Measmer, Jr. 199
6 11 Andy Seuss 199
7 79 Joe Ryan Osborne 199
8 5 Kyle Ebersole 199
9 2 JR Bertuccio 199
10 4 Jason Myers 199
11 77 Gary Putnam 199
12 40 Frank Fleming 199
13 12 Mike Norman 198
14 14 Trey Hutchens 196
15 28 George Brunnhoelzl, III 196
16 99 AJ Winstead 186
17 25 John Smith 173
18 32 Tom Abele 167
19 43 David Calabrese 150
20 58 Eric Goodale 146
21 73 Paul Hartwig, Jr. 96

That’s a great result especially at that track. It’s a hard place to pass and really easy to get punted out of the way.

Awesome job!!

There’s some pretty heavy hitters in that field, including the Myers boys, Suess, Preece, Brunnhoelzl, Goodale…and Frank Fleming ain’t no slouch at that joint, either. He’s got a few laps at the Madhouse.

One tough customer!!!

Jeremy Gerstner is one of the hardest working racers in the pits. Congrats!!! Go getum MAN!!! Your my HERO!!!

I was at that race, and yes, Jeremy was outstanding. He muscled his way around Burt Myers at BGS, no small feat, and steadily worked his way toward the front. The lead cars never really got spread out very far, so he was there with the best all night. I believe he was in a last minute ride since his car got tore up the night before.

Well done!
