Pro Trucks at Miami Homestead, Sebring and Daytona Speedways?

Exciting News from the Southern Pro Am Truck Series!

Pro Trucks at Miami Homestead, Sebring and Daytona Speedways? This is a realistic goal of the Southern Pro Am Truck Series and the Formula and Automobile Racing Association (FARA). This past spring the two racing series started working together on plans to include the Southern Pro Am Truck Series? pro trucks to FARA?s 2016 Florida road course racing events. FARA is a group of drivers, event organizers and business minded entrepreneurs that promote and bring to South Florida the second largest event at Homestead Speedway, only to be surpassed by NASCAR attendance in a single event. FARA?s dedication enables all classes of Modified Production automobiles to compete together in the road course within their specific categories to ensure a level playing field. FARAUSA is for all drivers from beginners to experts. For more information on FARA, visit farausa.com

The Southern Pro Am Truck Series is announcing an invitation all-call to ALL southeastern pro trucks for a test and tune on Friday August 21, 2015 from noon until 1 pm at Miami Homestead Speedway.

To accept this invitation, pro truck drivers must RSVP to info@driverseatracing.com before August 15, send a short racing bio-resume, get a physical and pay $100 to the Southern Pro Am Truck Series prior to August 21, 2015. The $100 racing fee will pay for your membership, insurance and a FARA road course racing license to race in the November 28, 2015 exhibition race and any future Series road course races at Miami Homestead, Daytona and Sebring Speedways.

If pro truck drivers are not able to bring their pro trucks to test on August 21, FARA has invited all pro truck drivers to attend the scheduled August 21-23 FARA race weekend; pro truck drivers who pay the fee and get a physical will be able to receive their road course license.

Pro truck drivers that attend the one hour testing session will be interviewed after their testing is complete. Interview responses will determine how the November 28th, 2015 Southern Pro Am Truck Series exhibition race at Miami Homestead Speedway will operate. The road course has 90% left handed turns, which means there is no need to make changes to your truck?s set up. Pro trucks will follow the current Southern Pro Am Truck Series racing rules.

The Southern Pro Am Truck Series would like to thank the FARA for their invitation and support of the Southern Pro Am Truck Series. For more information or to inquire about sponsorship opportunities, please call Jim at 941-773-7229.

That looks like a cool deal for the utes as Tico puts on a great event.
