The Citrus County Speedway website has a new message:
“Under New Management”
Anyone know if that is factual or just wishful thinking?
That is the outdated webpage of Citrus County Speedway when it was promoted by Gary Laplant. When he took over running the track he put “Under New Management” on the homepage. It remained all through the period in which he was the promoter.
There is no word as to the status of CCS for the 2016 season as of yet.
I think that right after Gary closed the track most recently it said something to the effect of “Closed, but the story will continue” or some such.
The “new mgmt” logo is, er, “new” again I believe.
But then, I forget things that happened and make up things that didn’t…
