Actually about 342 entries… still a great car count.
We’ll be there working with customers. Looks like it will be a good show if the weather cooperates.

We got there at 8:00 AM and it look like the 12 hour Weekend (without the Fans). The paddock was full high dollars rigs. The race cars are so cool looking. Racing at Sebring since 1973 the old place hasn’t change a lot. We are going over for on Friday for the HRS and 12hr Weekend. But the SCCA Major Race was GREAT!!! 60 Ford Spec (40 SPR-3 and 20 SCR-2) racers saw a lot of drivers fighting for inches on the 3.7 mile race course. Then watching the Mazda Mita Spec Series with 68 cars really made me think now that’s the class to bring to Short Track Racing. These guys race door to door and rubbing is racing is the norm. Bump drafting is an art form with this division. Got to see Super Late Model Driver Cory Cullum driving the #23 and his Dad. He started 15th (out of 68) worked his way up to 9th by lap two and got punted off. His day was done. So much fun seeing old Friends. The BIG BORE class saw almost 40+ cars in the group. The rest of the groups were all full with racers… So if your not doing anything it was free of charge no one at the gates just drive in (needed a pass for the Paddock). Can’t wait for St. Pete Grand Prix as well.
Remember these guys don’t care about El Nino (they race rain or shine). See you at the RACES!!!
