Got an e-mail from LeRoy Porter saying that John Santo passed away this morning… He apparently had prostate cancer for some time but never told anyone?. Good ex-racer (the #72 Late Model) and supporter of racing at all the Central Florida tracks through Santo’s Automotive… Will post more as it becomes available…

A shame.

He always had clean and competitive cars.

Thankfully, LeRoy seems to be doing well.

My dad used to share a shop with him off of Grand ave…I used to play in his late models when I was very young. Great Man and family. RIP John.
