Well it proves one thing there’s a lot of sportsman cars in FL and I know for a Fact there’s was a few that did not it make it out . Let hope with these new rules it works out and doesn’t ruin the class .

NSS announced they were not going to the new rules. Not fixing something that isn’t broken over there… All but 2 Sportsman drivers voted to keep existing rules.

WOW Was Ricky there ? So they are keeping everything the same ?

Ricky was not there, they will be using some of the body rules that Ricky put out in his rules, and some other minor changes. There were 50 sportsman cars that raced at Newsmyrna this season, under the current rules package. Since Newsmyrna is the only track in the state that is running weekly sportsman racing, atleast 2 to 3 races per month, they felt it was best for their strongest class to not change the rules and cost the guys that only support Newsmyrna more money, so they could have all the same rules with every other track. From what I heard there will be provisions for cars running the sunshine state sportsman rules package, in the rule book so guys that want to come to Newsmyrna, can plan ahead with lead, or make the necessary changes to meet the Newsmyrna sportsman rule book.
