Desoto Speedway Update

December 3rd ? Canceled (Huge National event at Dragstrip and the Annual Snowball Derby)

December 31st ? Event Cancelled (as a courtesy to Showtime Speedway)

January 28th ? This will be the first night for the Sportsman for 2017 and will also determine the champion for 2016 as they are currently tied.

Securing a date for the banquet with everybody starting their season so early it was very difficult, but we have secured Friday, February 17th for the Banquet at the Shahib Shrine in Sarasota. We will publish all the details as soon as possible.

We wish all of our Fans, Drivers, Car Owners and Employees a Happy Holidays and look forward to 2017

Not bad! I like the strictly stock endures, hopefully it will get some new racers hooked on turning left, and they can move on to a faster class.

I’ll miss the place during the long summer break. I am not sure if that is the way to go, but I understand the thinking behind it.

I really like racing at De Soto, and wish them a very successful 2017.
