MULTITUDE OF SPONSORS HELPING TO MAKE THE FINAL COULTER CHARITY TRUCK RACE POSSIBLE

When the gates open Saturday morning for the 12th, and final, Joey Coulter Charity Pro Truck race at Auburndale Speedway literally all of the expenses will have been already taken care of meaning that all profits from the event will be going to the three families being helped this year.

Along with sponsorships and award money, 143 of the 212 laps in the race were sold at $20 per lap. Now the deal was - If all 212 laps were sold, the driver leading those laps and the families would split the money but if not all laps were sold, the entire amount would go to the families. The goal came up 69 laps short, but the families will still split $2,860, not a bad start to the weekend. A list of those sponsoring laps is at the end of this release. A big thank you goes out to everyone who took time to purchase laps.

Coulter Motorsports and Mid Florida Septic/American Septic, Inc. are the weekend event title sponsors. Auburndale Speedway is once again donating use of the speedway. Major event sponsors include Southern Air Compressor Service of Lakeland and swimming pool resurfacing specialists Mr. Marcite of Venice.

Associate event sponsors include Sofos Construction LLC of Dunedin, Huston Cars/Huston Cadillac of Lake Wales and Autotech Collision Center of Lakeland. Fellows Motorsports of Lakeland is the Saturday night presenting sponsor while the Sunday presenting sponsor is Pinnacle Construction of the Treasure Coast located in Vero Beach.

The Les and Judy Smout Foundation of Clearwater is once again the Charity Pro Truck race sponsor while CLL Global Research Foundation is the sponsor for the V-8 Bomber 50, Legend Car and Mini Stock races. Since 2005, the CLL Global Research Foundation has funded over 24 million dollars to researchers all over the world in order to make a headway in the advancement of treatments for chronic lymphocytic leukemia, CLL for short. These race sponsorships were paid for by a private donor to help the families and to provide awareness of CLL and those looking for a cure.

Jett Concrete of Middleburg is sponsoring the race for the Showtime Speedway/Citrus County Speedway Street Stocks while Autotech Collison Center of Lakeland is the sponsor for the TQ Midget race.

Teams were asked to pre-enter and those that did were eligible for a total of 55 gallons of free fuel from Sunoco Race Fuels and six free race tires courtesy of American Racer Tires. Also, three drivers were chosen to receive free weekend pit passes. The drawing was held on Sunday, December 3, and here are the list of winners:
