I have to say that when you steal I think you are so low. I didn’t lose a race car but all the new part’s that I had to finish my new race car. Was stolen from my shop. This is not the first time. I just have not said anything before but now I am mad. What make’s it worst is I was building this car on a budget. Now if I can’t find the money the car will be on jack stands for the year. People always ask why are there are cars not racing well here is 1 reason. I know I will never get the stuff back. But I hope who ever did this get’s there’s back. In 12 years of racing this makes me want to find a new hobbie. It is so hard to build a new car when life has you on a budget we as racer’s know that but we don’t think about this ever happing to us. So racer’s keep an eye out on your stuff cause some people like it better then you. Thank’s for your time.

I understand, (1) 3 day old ATV to push car stolen. The police up here in SC HAD prints but COULD NOT LIFT THEM. The insurance company said that since I was not THERE when it was stolen then it is NOT covered. Maybe my thief will run your thief over with my ATV!!!

I feel for you man. Yea that would be good if they ran into each other. But knowing the luck they would team up.lol. It is a shame.

What parts do you need? I am cleaning out my shop and since I never have any luck selling stuff I either will give it away or trash it. I update to new stuff and still have alot of good used parts. Let me know on here what you may need. Mike

I just got back from lunch and I had a revelation while induldging in a gaint salad. I am rtired and on social securty. long ago hung up my helmet, so I don’t have any parts any more, but one thing I do have is video. I will donate a video of what ever I have to racing 7 and his race car. I know of a bunch of race cars on jack stands and we don’t need any more of those. I have 24 years of video, most is at Desoto, all though I have taped all over the state over the years. I made hi-lites of Desoto every year it has all the crashs we got for that year. This year I have shot A dirt Series at Hendy County Speedway. So if you win the raffle you have your choice. If you’ll send a $5 donation to enter we will see how much we can raise for race7. Frazz if you or someone wants to hold the money I’d like that so there is no hint of improprity. I don’t want any thing out of it, just the satisfaction of knowing we helped. Thanks Bob…

Stolen

To everyone…I can’t find enough words to say THANK YOU I am lost. I would never thought this. On the old board I was Racing6 and I really never talk just like reading everyone’s Post.The stuff that was stolen was 1. plug’s for a Chevy 350. 2. Accel 8.8 plug wire’s. 3. Cheap roller rocker’s. 4. racing oil. 5. Air filter. 6. Fuel filter’s. 7. Oil Filter’s. 8. Accel Super Coil. 9. Accel distributor. 10. carb gasket’s and spacer plate. 11. 2bbl Holley 12. 4bbl Quaderjet. That is everything the sad part is that it was all new in there boxes. I do have proof that I bought everything but the law just took a report and they are keeping up with the part store’s to see if someone bring’s this stuff back for money but it has been a week and so far no luck. I am building a 85 Monte for Pure Stock at Columbia I have been racing there off and on for 12 years. My daughter races there in there Hornet Class. Thats one reason why I am on a budget. I will not let myself take money from her car for myself. Thats why as much as I would hate it but I rather have the car sit on stands then take anything from her. The funny thing is I would never thought that I would get help. I wanted other racer’s to watch out cause I hate to see this happen to anyone. I will do this if anyone does help I will put your name on my car and post it on here just to say thanks. Thanks You again Shawn

I’ll check the garage later. Have extra in a lot of your list. Rockers,coil,maybe a 4412 carb,air filters…None new, but well maintained and usable.

Parts

I have extra:
Accel coil and dist cap. No distributor.
Rebuilt 4412 with a very minor problem(stripped out threads in one screw).
Roller tipped rockers 1.5.(8)
11/2 inch carb plate for 4412(4bbl to 2bbl).

Parts coming

I shipped out the parts today Shawn. 4412 carb,1 1/2 spacer,accel coil and cap,roller tip rockers and all hardware,pushrod guides,roller chain.
