Stewart won the Rumble in Ft. Wayne indoor midget race Saturday night…Then he proceeded to give his trophy away to a little girl who had raced her quarter midget earlier in the evening.
Who promptly put in on eBay.
Not a bad buy either - 10 bucks… Should have it by Saturday, then give it to the winner of the Mini Stock race!!
Then it should be mine because I got shorted my trophy from the second race. we were one of the last ones and they were out of trophies by the time I got to the window.

Be aware the Boneman uses nitrous oxide in his car… No, it doesn’t go into the engine to make it go faster, he has a tube in which he inhales during the race… says it makes it easier to run the “high” lane…

Good news. I found an old photo of the boneman with the right number on his car. Who knew he once ran with the number 44. I think its a good look for him.
True story: the only time I ever drove a #44, I managed to knock the bottom of the oil pan off in the heat. I had to go in the infield at Hialeah to miss a spin, so naturally the oil pan caught on one of the concrete bumps.
