Little 500 night announcement and link

http://www.little500night.homestead.com

Ok kids, here we go. Mark your calenders for Saturday, March 1. You can get a map to the track by clicking on the link.

Too bad I could not find a perfect night. I understand that 3-1 has a conflict with Auburndale and De Soto Speedways. So much for that famous speedway cooperation! They scheduled events on the same night as this!

Anyway, it will be a bunch of laughs. At least we’ll all have the time to collect a paycheck or two after speedweeks ends.

I take it that it is the place with 3 tracks stacked up against each other? One is like heart shaped?

I’m taking this race as my big chance to get noticed. I’m still only 24 and am a media darling, a true marketing dream. A win here should land me a ride in a Super Late Model. After all, if you can win at Little 500, you can win anywhere.

how do we race wiht yall we just buy tickets

Hey Joe,
Last year we had a couple talent scouts there from Roush’s Gong show, but Moe wrecked them and ran 'em off.

racer98, yeah we just buy tickets and go at it. It is not very organized.

Hey oval44,
Yes, there are three tracks there. We run on the tiny egg-shaped one. The lap times are around 12 seconds, so the scale works with what we are used to.

The largest track is for children. An adult or older kid drives and takes the little kid around the track at 5 mph. I figure that is about right for you. My son can drive you around if you like.

There is a second track that is slightly faster. It is for kids anywhere from 8-13 or so. That is probably the right speed for Larrytg and Demo Ray.

Boneman maybe you should race on the kids track
its more your speed and you might have shot at winning

Hey Boneman

This pic is to help you recognize my back in a kart. Get used to it. The only way you’ll have your “Back To The Pack” will be when you spin or are about to go another lap down.
I was 3 years old in this pic and just wrapped up my 327th championship.

heres what happened last year

This is bonemans ride for this year. Hopefully it isnt too much horsepower for him.

boneman kart.jpg

I will try to make it out. Boneman - looking forward to meeting you at the reunion and then whooping ya at the go kart track.

Hey Larry, what is the deal with that #9 kart? I know you are pretty damn old, but it looks like the 9 is steam powered! Was that a pre-war shot?

The rest of you punks can talk all the smack you want, but I will remind you that I WAS the biggest winner last year, and here is the proof!

Having three of those winning tickets in one place is like getting your name on the Hulman trophy.

bones new ride

I saw boneman testing out his new ride and it didnt look good

wrecks

so you won 3 times in 17219 tries?

racer98, yeah we just buy tickets and go at it. It is not very organized.

i can see you’re FASCAR trained through and through. :grinser010:

Really wish I could be there !!!

Boneman and others, wish I could be there but I am going to the Strawberry Festival with my wife and daughters. It is one of the things we do together each year before the racing season begins. I will miss rubbing sheet metal with most of you…we had such a ball last year. Lil 500 is the best, and when a bunch of crazed drivers, fans and officials get together the fun meter explodes…have a great time and please do not hurt anyone…
Rick Bristol:huepfen024:

so you won 3 times in 17219 tries?

come on go easy on wRex it only took 4,869 tries to win those three.

BTW those 3 wins are his biggest wins in his entire racing career.

The picture is photo-shopped the real one had master on the front not mike. And bonehead try to get that Russell driver to come. He got a little upset last year.

Yeah, that was pretty cool. Here was Tim Russell, one of the hottest and most successful SLM and ARCA racers in Florida, yet he gets wore out at Little 500 by demo Moe! After counseling and some healing time, he went on to have a pretty damn good 2007. I bet he is coming back with his tire changers this year…

“Rex Master Bates Racing” Thats funny cause usually its racing that does the screwing.
