Thank You All

Thank you for helping make our opening night a success.
4100 fans joined us and 110 drivers in four divisions, we couldn’t of asked for anything better than that. Thank You

Thank you Mike

It was a pleasure to meet you and Angie. Our series was impressed by your facility. I personally enjoyed the whole experience. The racing was great and the atmospere was just as great. The spot, on top of your press box, where I taped was the best seat in the house. I’ll send you a copie of the program when i get it edited. Also I’ll send you a copy of the in-car footage in Shawn Smith’s car. We mounted it a little high, so we got more of the roof than I would have wanted. Thats my learning curve. It still turned out good. I need to figure out how to sheild it too. When I took it off Shawns car it was caked in mud. That was the first time I have had it in a dirt car, always asphalt before. Anyway kudos to you and your staff for an excellent job. I know at least 12 or so promotors that would kill for the crowd you had.
Thanks again. Bob…

Great job on friday night!I expected a few glitches on opening night but they were very minor you and your staff should give yourselves a pat on the back because all your hard work and preparation made for a great night of racing.I have supported your track in the past and will continue in the future.I took my grandson and his friend who were visiting from New Hampshire it was their first visit to a dirt track and they loved it.I don’t think I have heard two teenage boys use the word awesome as much as they did that night.

Mike it was an awesome night and we at the UDLMCS are looking forward to our return for the 100 lap Powell Memorial June 6th and I promise I wont mention asphalt again!

hmmmmm

he promised to smuggle me out to a race too mike! rofllllllllllllll

You and Angie did a great job Friday, Mike. It was awesome to see all that hard work pay off. Keep the momentum going and don’t let up. By the way, you’re a pretty good interview.

Hey Joe

Hi Joe, it was good to meet you Last week. can you send me a copy of your article from 2/29? I like to read it and I don’t have any idea where I’d get a copy of the Banner here in Myakka City. We are in the woods. LOL! I really got some good shots from the top of the press box. I enjoyed working with you. Thanks Bob… My E-mail is flvideo50@hotmail.com

Thanks Jim, I’ll look them up. We can’t wait till we are back up there for the June race. We all enjoyed the race the other night. I think if we can work out the logistics, Jacks going to broadcast all our shows. Now is that cool or what? Bob…

Nice to meet you too, Bob. I figure you got the address already. I can’t wait to see what happens with the Powell Memorial in June, but there’s a lot of good racing between now and then. Diamond Jim, I’m still hoping to get that ride in your car. (Though I must admit, this dirt driving looks hard.)

Mike and Angie,
As others have said, GREAT JOB. Keep up the work and enthusiasm. You seem to have hired the right people to make the place a success. I think this is the first time I have seen the announcer jumping around to get the crowd going. I’ll be back.

National Anthem

After seeing that picture and having my memory jogged, I can’t believe no one mentioned that little girl who sang the national anthem. I can’t remember her name but I thought she did a good job! She had one little hiccup, but who wouldn’t be nervous with that big of a crowd looking at ya!
IF anyone reads this and knows her, give her a pat on the back and a big hug and tell her how good of a job she did!!! :huepfen024: JMO
