From what I know, they opened for business last week? Did anybody go? How was the new approach? How many cars? Fans?
Is it worth the 45-minute drive to go out there?

Don’t waste your time, money, gas or the wear and tear on your car to go. I did not go but heard it was very boring. Only had like 50-60 cars and they were done by 9:30. Alot of the cars were from Inverness, so look for them to lose them when Inverness opens back up after the fair.
If I’m wrong , please don’t bite my head off. I wasn’t there and only posting what I was told.
Bronson Motor Speedway opened last week…Use this link for racing news results from Bronson. or you can use the Front Door.
Yikes. Did anybody go? What was the fan count like? Looks like they actually cut the Hornets feature. Only 3 features…
I’m Goin’
I went to the practice March 1st and there were quite a few cars there.
After doing several set up adjustments, I had planned to go opening night but got sick and did not go. I do hope to go this Saturday and get my FIX in the seat before I go nuts.:sprachlos020: Meantime, see you all at Ocala Friday night. :huepfen024:

If you HAD been there…
You would have been thankful (like several racers and race fans thanked us for) that we moved the show along, without intermission or draggin things out, because it was 30 degrees with the wind blowing about 30 MPH! We were finished around 10 PM.
We had great racing and a good fan turnout for as cold as it was. (THANKS RACE FANS!) As well as a good car count for the first night. (THANKS RACERS!) Several folks are still working on their machines and lots more action to come!
Hope you can make it out this Saturday Night, the weather is supposed to be much better!
More exciting details coming soon.
Thanks Racers and Race Fans!
Bronson was Great
It was a great way to start the season off. There were enough cars (13 to 15) to make it fun but not so many that that there was a caution every other lap. The track added five laps to each race and gave us a few laps at the start of the race to warm up the car and tires because it was really cold. The food was good and the staff made sure it went off without a hitch.
Calm Down
I did not mean to make any one mad at BMS. Joe from the OCALA STAR BANNER asked a question and I answered it. I was not trying to be rude to anyone. NO I was not there[which I stated], I was only telling him what I was told by 3 different people. I personally wish BMS the best of luck and hope they overcome the 20 plus yrs of negative remarks.
You probably won’t believe me but here I go---- Good luck in 08 and beyond!!!
