[SIZE=“4”]James Civali is one of the northern drivers to make the trip down to Caraway Speedway over the weekend to compete in the Whelen Southern Modified race. In fact, othern than Ted Christopher, Civali, is one of the more popular drivers to make the trip down.
Civali ran in the top ten until lap 57 when he began falling off the pace with mechanical problems.
It was a crash on lap 138 that brought out a red flag that would create the long haul back to Meridan Conn.
It was a tune up for Civali who plans to run for the championship in the Whelen northern modified series which starts in early April at Thompson Conn.
