[SIZE=“4”]Mike Herman Jr. of Kannapolis NC is living out a dream of a lifetime. He is moving over to the elusive Whelen Southern Modified Series.
Though on a limited basis, Herman is getting to race at his childhood racetrack, Bowman Gray Stadium, as well. Bowman Gray runs the featured modified series in its weekly series.
Herman is making the move after having run the Hooters ProCup Series for over ten years.
Herman also is taking with him, his longtime sponsor Fireside Hearth and Home.
Herman will make his first start this weekend at Southern National Raceway Park, a track where Herman usually runs good at.
