As you can see below it was no fun if you traveled to Kenly over the past weekend.
The night of the modifieds was cancelled around 2:30 in the afternoon after light rain would not let up. The forecast for the rest of the evening was of no help either.
Seems like bad weather hampers Southern National Raceway Park for the Whelen Southern Modifieds and the Hooters ProCup Series.
If its not rain the severe heat of the summer takes over.
Still none the less, Kirk Leone has a nice racing facility.
The race will be made up later this year. No date has yet to be set.
The series moves on to the historic Greenville Pickens Speedway in South Carolina this coming Saturday night.
