Trouble on the horizon For Miller n Miller

[SIZE=“3”]Junior Miller has seen his share of trouble this past weekend. First he was disqualified at Ace for having illegal heads and his crew chief, Chad Freeman, gets suspended. Then Miller gets caught up in an early accident on the Saturday race.

However coming out from under the radar scope is LW Miller, no relation to Junior.

Some drivers in the garage area are complaining about the driving tactics of LW Miller. Some are complaining that it was LW Miller that took out Andy Seuss on the first lap at Ace that caused a multiple car crash. That crash did severe damage to several cars.

One car owner says that LW Miller has the car to beat this year and needs to be patient or his driver may not be too lenient. He cited that it was too early to be bumping people around on the beginning of a race. “You dont win races on the first lap” he would say.

On Saturday night some were again pointing fingers at LW Miller when he collected Rich Kuiken on the front stretch and sent the young Kuiken for a wild ride on top of the wall.

Sources say that NASCAR has talked to LW Miller after the incident.

The drivers and car owners talked to say that its not a matter of jealousy or ill feelings they are talking about. What they are saying is that LW Miller is getting a little aggressive when he shouldn’t be since he has one of the better cars on the tour.

NASCAR has taken a different approach this year with on track incidents. But the Whelen Southern Modified Series may not be one of the series it was talking about since these cars have so much horsepower and run on small tracks.

Chad Little, a former racer himself, has taken over as director for the Whelen Modified Series. Much remains to be seen if Little will start taking action for rough driving in Modified racing.
