I was a basketcase yesterday and for those who caught me crying in the pit office, thanks for caring. Nathan Michael Bo Williams was born yesterday at about 6:35 our time, 4:35 Colorado time. Nathan was 6 lbs, 12 ozs, 19 inches long and is doing fine along with mama. Mama had him totally naturally, no drugs at all, and I am very proud of her.
Thats wonderful
I am so glad to hear that Jane. God answers prayer. We have been praying for her ever since you shared it with me months ago. He is a blessed child.
When are you going out there to see kimber and nathan? Your buddy Bob…
If nothing bad happens, I will leave June 30th and come home July 9th and will only miss the Clyde Hart since Orlando is closed the weekend of July 4th. I just cannot afford to miss alot of work and pay my bills.
And just for you, Julie leaves on her dream vacation this Wednesday for her Alaskan cruise. She still needs more chemo but she is putting everything on hold for this. She will be careful but this is her dream and she says she is going no matter what.
Jane, Congratulations on the newest addition to your family. Can’t wait to see some pictures of him.
Tell Julie I hope she enjoys her trip to Alaska.
God Bless!!!
Thanks Cara.
I guess when you have cancer and the future looks not quite so good, you make up a list of things you wish you had done. Julie’s Alaskan cruise was on the top of her list and when we almost lost her not long ago, her husband booked one for them for her 50th birthday. She was bent on going no matter what even after she went out of remission not long ago. She got her a new wig, will wear her mask when needed, and is going. Her doctor was not in favor of it because of her 3 times a week blood tests but this is her dream and she wants it. I only hope she has the best time of her life on this cruise.
Jane
congrats on the grandkid Jane.
hurray for Julie
I am glad she is able to take her cruise. I’ll include that in her prayer. Its been such a long haul for her, I can’t blame her for wanting to realize her dream. We have some friends that went on the Alaska Cruise and loved it.
My neighbor just got back from alaska. He used to live there. His son graduated from high School and he attended the Graduation. Kimbers baby is big. At 19" I bet he’ll be a basket ball player. You enjoy your trip Jane and I’ll lift you up for travel mercy. If you talk to Julie let know we are praying for her. May God bless. Bob…
I will definitely let her know Bob. Her doctor was going to send a letter stating he did not think she should go but doctors don’t always see the big picture for a person. They booked this when she was in remission and had no planning on her going out but she did. She still has alot to do when she comes back but this just may be the breath of fresh air she needs to do everything when she comes back. God works in crazy ways sometimes and I think he knows that this cruise is what she really, really wants. She has promised lots and lots of pictures and I know she will take care of herself but this was on the top of her list and not many are lucky enough to get to do that list. Sure, I am alittle scared for her but I know how much this means to her so LET’S GO ON A CRUISE JULIE.
