[SIZE=“4”]New driver Rob Jones competed in his first Super Cup Stock Car Series race and he also set a record in doing so.
The Bowie MD. resident became the first afro american driver to compete in the Super Cup race held at Newport Tn over the weekend.
Jones even competed for the lead at times before having to settle for an eighth place finish in his first outing.
Besides some dings on the car, Jones should be ready for the next event at Kil Kare.[/SIZE]
