Can Anyone Remember These Victory Lane Photos ??

Lets see…

 Just One Of Them 52 Is Bucth Miller At Desoto Some In 86 88

The first one is Joe Winchell in Mark Cowhards car at Hialeah.

The 4th picture is of Bob Luscomb with his sprinter and Frank Riddle

#1 is Joe Winchell after he held off Dick Anderson to win the 1988 Marion Edwards, Jr. Memorial at Hialeah…
#3 is Butch Miller from either '87 or '88 after winning the Florida 200 at Desoto… It was the third leg of the Florida Triple Crown that year which was part of the NASCAR All American Challenge Series…
#4 is Bob Luscomb and Frank Riddle from 1973, but does anyone know why they are both in victory lane?
#2 - This pic is from 1974 and this guy is still active today…

Maybe Stan Butler? He’s been around forever!

#3 is Deffently Butch and the trophy girl is married to a friend of mine. I have a video of that race somewhere. Bob…

No, it’s another ancient Sprint Car guy…

Sonny Hartley?

Also, the pic with Luscomb and Riddle… didn’t they tie for a feature win at Sunshine Speedway (or the Gate) at one point? I seem to remember it happening, but didn’t think it was that early ('74). Read about it in Gater News in Rochester NY. They always had some Florida results during the winter months when there was no action going on up there.

That is Sonny Hartley after his first ever Sprint Car win in 1974… He went on to have a lot of success in Pete Crocker’s 3X winning a track title at Sunshine in the early 80’s and his son Bo won the 2006 TBARA title in the #3X, the number they kept on the car after Pete passed away…

Bob and Frank finished in a dead heat for the feature win one night in the summer of '73… Frank Dery decided to have a match race btween the two the following week and Bob won it… Said it was one of the highlights of his career…

That may be Bob but…

Hey Robert!
Before she got married…she dated yours truly…that’s how she got interested in going to the track in the first place. And of course, her husband is also a friend of mine, too.

Heh heh heh…remember, I wasn’t always fat and bald.
