A Short Weekend Update...

ARCA ran at Cayuga Speedway in Canada… Justin Allgaier won the race over Frank Kimmell and Ricky Stenhouse, Jr. The best finish by a Florida driver was Bryan Silas who was the last car on the lead lap in 14th place… Patrick Sheltra was eight laps down in 18th… Charlie Vest, who works with Silas on race days, looks like he started the race in Bryan’s back-up car (maybe they needed cars to fill the field) and ran 15 laps before a DNF for the infamous reason of “handling”… Also noted that Daytona’s Dave Savicki started the race and ran four laps before “handling” took him out too…
At Richmond, Wayne Reutimann, Jr. finished 5th in the Silver Crown race… But had problems with his Sprint Car ride the night before and was a DNS… Two FL guys were in the USAC Sprint car race with Brian Gingras getting 7th and David Slawiak 9th… Only 15 USAC Sprints showed up…
Just 12 USCS sprints showed up for a dirt race at Travelers Rest Speedway in NC… Pete Walton’s club continues to have car count woes…
And Becca Anderson won her 9th career URC Sprint car feature over a 28 car field in Delmar, DE. It was her first win in URC since returning from a not-so-good run with the WOO… But she is a pretty good shoe!!
Check out these photos of Randy Martin’s car at Knoxville, IA… pretty neat!
