Jason Owens Miller
MILLER, Jason Owens Jason Owens Miller, 35, of East Granby, son of Walter “Ray” Miller III of East Granby and Mary Lou Miller-Koba of Cromwell, died suddenly on Tuesday, (July 15, 2008). Born in Hartford, on March 4, 1973, Jason was a lifelong resident of East Granby. He graduated from East Granby High School in 1991 and was employed as a truck driver for Spazzarini Construction Co., Enfield. Jason was an avid NASCAR fan and was a stock car driver for his dad’s race team. He was a stock car driver at the Stafford Speedway and the Waterford Speed Bowl. Besides his father and mother, he is survived by his stepfather Michael Koba, his infant son MacKendel Lee-James Genest, and many friends in East Granby and in the racing community. His family will receive friends on Sunday, July 20th from 3-6 p.m. at the Hayes-Huling & Carmon Funeral Home, 364 Salmon Brook St., Granby. A graveside service will be held on Monday, July 21st at 10 a.m. at the West Suffield Cemetery, Mountain Road, West Suffield. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in his memory to the East Granby Volunteer Ambulance Association, P.O. Box 100, East Granby, CT 06026.
