[SIZE=“3”]It wasn’t his best career finish. In fact he finished 12th in the Advance Auto Parts 199 this past Saturday night at Bowman Gray Stadium.
Thomas Stinson is a relative unknown in the Whelen Southern Modified Series Tour.
But on this night Stinson of Richmond VA, ran as high as sixth place during much of the race. He did finish on the lead lap, something hard to do for a 199 lap race on a quarter mile flat track.
Though Stinson isnt among the Tours elite of drivers, he does have his name of glory. That is him and his car that you see on a NASCAR promotional commercial on Cup weekend telecasts.
