Citrus County Speedway, Saturday, August 16th, the Florida Mini Cups have cancelled! We will still feature 8 different divisions. Highlighting the action will be the Checkered Flag Sprint Series will host a non-wing sprint car event. The newest sprint car racing series in the state will be making their first appearance at Citrus County Speedway in Inverness, Florida. The race program at Citrus County Speedway?s lighting fast 3/8 mile paved oval will consist of 8 lap heats races and a 35 lap feature event sponsored by Gulf American Construction and Development Corp. Other racing action will be the Open Wheel Modified, Sportsman, Street Stocks, Pure Stocks, V8 Thunder Stocks, 4 Cylinder Bombers and the Wild and Crazy Figure 8?s. Pit gate opens at 2:00 p.m. Practice begins at 3:00 p.m. Grandstand General Admission gate opens at 4:00 p.m. and Racing action begins at 5:30 p.m. Bring the whole family for an exciting night of action packed racing at Citrus County Speedway.
