New Hendry County Motorsports Park SOLD!!!!

Announced tonight on Dirt World, Ken Kinney of the United Dirt Late Model Challenge Series has purchased New Hendry County Speedway and will rename it to New Hendry County Motorsports Park. Stay tuned for more details…

Amen…

Cool!

That is the best news I have heard in months! I talked to Ken about this a few months ago and he was very non-commital about everything at that time but sure glad it happened! That little track could be a gold mine! Only dirt around for miles, no close neighbors complaining about anything and has pretty good car counts at times but as soon as people get used to racing, season is over for this or that reason. I wish Ken the very best and look forward to supporting HCMP again soon!!!

Thats good news for that track. It will turn around now for sure. Congratulations Ken. I kinda suspected it. Bob…

Very exciting news for fans in the South Florida areas from Okeechobee to Ft Myers/Naples to West Palm and Ft Lauderdale!

Very first thing Ken needs to do is invest in mosquito spray . I enjoy going there but the mosquitos in the summer are unbelievable . Should be able to draw a good crowd , and cars are plentiful in the area . I wish him luck , it’s nice to see someone trying to save a track instead of bulldozing one .

WOW!!! Kenny good luck!!!

You have worked very hard to get where you are. Congrats and welcome to the Club. Now, every Monday your message box will fill with best wishes from the past weekend. Just kidding!!! Let me know if we can help in any way.

This is a great track with great POTENTIAL. And this is a great person to bring out the potential…I’m with AJ14 about the bugs!

It’s the only place I’ve ever announced where the tower was surrounded by a mosquito net… The things are so big, they are sometimes picked up on the FAA radar in Miami!!

Great news! I am so glad that someone with abrain is now at this track. I tryed for months to talk to the past guy about getting some races over there…got no where. What are the chances of see sprint cars race on a normal basis? I know it may be to soon to ask, but there are alot of cars in that area. Good luck and I will support this track for sure. Ken, I think you will make this the best track in Florida.

A big round of applause!!!

I’ll quote what Jack said on the dirt show, “We owe a great deal of gratitude to the previous owners for not letting the track get bull dozed under.” Well, he said something like that anyway.
Thank you Ken for keeping the dream alive.
Call me if you need me…Danny Snow
