I spoke with Clay Campbell today at Martinsville. They were having their annual toy drive. If you brought a toy or made a cash donation you got free hotdogs, rides in your passenger car around the track. I got in line twice for the hot dogs. I asked Clay about the modifieds returning in 2009. He said yes and the race is the same weekend but on Sunday September 27. It will most likely be a 2 day show with some thing else to be included.
The Bailey?s 300 Late Model Stock race is October 4th, 2009. That means the open practice day should be September 23rd from 9-5 pm.
