Speedweeks 2009...

Its almost here, Speedweeks 2009. I’m thinking

Ocala - Jan 29th & 30th (All-Star Sprints)
East Bay - Jan 31st (ASCS King of the 360s)
Volusia - Feb. 3rd - 8th (All-Star & WoO Sprints)
NSS - Feb. 9th (TBARA sprints)
Maybe back to East Bay - Feb 11th (410 non sanction sprints)
NSS - Feb. 13th (Modified Reunion)
Sumter County - Feb. 28th (Micro Sprints, Slingshots & Legends)

What’s the country song say? “I can sleep when I’m dead.” And add flat broke!

I’m gonna do Ocala 31st then flip-flop east bay and volusia (i’m staying between the two) 6th at NSS and 7th at CCMP then back on the plane on the 8th.:ernaehrung004:

East Bay late models, Monday and Tuesday!

We will be camping in our toyhauler 9 nights in New Smyrna. Going to NSS on the 7,11,13, and 14. Doing VSP on the 8,9, and 12. Still trying to convince the wife that still leaves two nights with nothing to do, got an idea how about going to the races. We only go to real racing no NASCAR

I’m gonna do Ocala either Thurs or Fri and then Eastbay Wed thru Sat. Might head over to Smyrna on Thurs 2-12-09 Then off to Disney for the weekend “Twirlmania” my oldest daughter is on a baton competition team.

East Bay Thursday then monday for late models.

Ocala 3 nights, Volusia 3 nights (AllStars). Can’t stand the prices for WOO. NSB for the sprints. billy

I with Tccaz. No Nascar races this year (Cup, Cup Lite, Trucks). Remember, they did’nt need or want us a few years back. They were too sophisticated to have short track folks anymore. Suburban yuppies were replacing us 3 to 1. Guess what, they have a lot of empty seats now and they want us back. Problem is, we found out that a WELL RUN short track show is way better, costs a lot less money and is much less of a hassle than even the best Cup race. So, for me, no more Daytona, Atlanta or Las Vegas, and a lot more East Bay, Lanier and Rome.

Rome is one awesome place! Would LOVE to make it there more often.

Ocala speedway january 30th & 31st…Volusia speedway park february 3rd thru the 14th :ernaehrung004:

Ocala for sprints, East Bay for Late Models, Volusia for Big Block Modifieds and Late Models, and Auburndale for Figure 8.

Speedweeks

ocala 3 nights, nss on the 9th for tbara, wed. nss, thur volusia for northern mods. fri.nss for reunion and ritchie evans race.

No real schedule for me, but I can promise you won’ see me on freezing cold nights.

But, I should be at Ocala (probably Friday), East Bay for either 360 Sprints or LM’s, a few nights at New Smyrna, and a few at Volusia (Big-block mod nights).

And you know where I’ll be on the 13th!

I’m going everywhere and doing everything. There will be a trip or two to East Bay and Ocala, several stops at Volusia, and I’ll fill in the rest of the nights at New Smyrna. I’ll help out at the reunion, enter the electric car race in Jupiter, and hopefully get to fufill a dream I’ve had since I was a kid: to drive a midget. I may get the chance at Z-hills.

Oops, I amost forgot Auburndale for the figure 8 shows.

Driving straight down from work Thursday Night to Ocala Friday Morning, gonna hit up Ocala Friday and Saturday, then head to tampa and party sunday and monday, then volusia tuesday thru friday, take my mom and her friend to Daytona for ARCA and Shootout Saturday, then back to Volusia for the finale Sunday, then drive straight back to the poconos for work on Tuesday:sport009::aetsch013:

All four nights at Ocala… Wednesday through Saturday… then off Sunday, then Monday through Sunday at Volusia… Boneman, I hope you are planning to ride shotgun with me at least one of those nights…

alternate between smyrna and volusia.try to make it to at least one race at east bay and ocala.

I’m hoping for one, if not two races at Ocala. I think that will provide the best sprint car racing since that’s a new track to most every traveling driver. I’d like to catch one night of WoO sprints at VSP and one night of DIRT Modifieds at VSP. In theory I’ll be in the pits two nights at New Smyrna. That’s pretty much all my recession-riddled wallet can handle this year and even that may be a stretch.
