This young man had quite a weekend finishing third at the Orange Blossom 100 Friday at Orlando and winning the race at Auburndale which was his first big win in a SLM… Again, this is not a high dollar team (although I’m sure they are shelling out big bucks for Norm Agostinho to be crew chief lol)… basically just a well put together family operation… They even brought their race truck to OSW to support the show with Brandon Duscherer driving…
Jason has a lot of talent and look for a few more wins out of this team this year…
Great photo from last Friday was taken by my good friend Mike Fettig…
I have watched this guy drive a few times and was impressed every time. Now on the other hand, whoever was driving the truck needs to have their head examined. Still fun to watch as long as I wasn’t the driver in front or beside him.
It’s a good thing you can comment on whether drivers are good or not. With you racing about once a year it seems it’s enough to make you an expert.
Maybe you should publish a book called “Racing for Dummies”. With the money from the books sales you might be able to race twice a year. By the way, the one time I seen you run your sportsman car it was scary.

I am not an expert driver and never claimed to be and that one time I raced a sportsman I am sure it was pretty scary but I didn’t drive in over my head and wreck another hard working driver. I am however an expert fan and I will be happy to publish that book only if I can feature that truck driver.
Jason Vail also impressed me by showing up at last years Southern Slam 250 at South Georgia Motorsports Park… one of only 2 Central Florida racers to make it up there. The other was winner Justin Drawdy.
Wayne Anderson attempted to make this race, as well as the Governors Cup the previous night, but his SGMP ride blew a motor on practice day.
I like a guy who will travel to an unfamiliar track and try his best among some of the strongest cars in the country!
Keep it up Jason… you’re earning a new fan!
I’ve always liked his paint job - pretty snappy.
