i am probably only one in whole world that feels this way … sure jimmy johnson can drive a car but with out chad he would not be that good
but i still don’t like him and never will i don’t know why he had no reason to bonzi his car down in corner and have a half of a foot and root denny #11 out of way now he ain’t my favorite driver either denny should have took that hog rooting wanabee down cross track and shot him up across the track into fence
and next time he decided to put bumper to some one he might have second thoughts i wish he had of done it to tony in # 14 and tony could have caught him with about six laps to go now that would have been a good race
just because you have caught some one don’t mean you should drive like that he was not under him and denny had the groove why did’nt super racer go by on out side
Here’s my take, I feel like Jimmy or one of the Hendrick cars feel like there’re sort of obligated to Rick to win at Martinsville because of the tragety that happened up there. It sort of looked like Kyle backed off and let Denny come to the inside of Jimmy on one of those restarts and Jimmy would be thinking Kyle would be there. It works both ways.
All in all yesterday was a great racing day, watching Martinsville, listening on here of the race in Brunswick and watching the Colossal on the internet.
Will be leaving this Friday for the Lucas Oil races at Screven and Swainsboro, have room in the back of my truck if anyone wants to go. Buy the gas and I may can find room for you up front.
I am not a JJ fan by any means but at least he made a race out of it. It got pretty boring watching follow the leader. The “Bonzi” move wasn’t that bad, Hamlin wasn’t too upset by it.
Johnson didn’t wreck him, there is that. but yeah, Harvick did the bump-n-run properly on Busch today, while Johnson could have easily spun Hamlin out. almost spun himself out as well.
What I saw was some great ‘short track’ racin’ in those last 20 laps. JJ had the faster car and proved it by runnin’ away after the the pass on Hamlin.
Hamlin was protecting his line on the bottom, almost to the point of blocking. JJ showed some class by not wrecking him and making the pass. It almost backfired with Smoke coming up fast on the inside and had to check up.
Like I said, the best part of the whole race was the last 20 laps and congrats to David R. for his finish.

Man, I really felt for David R. He had a top 10 car, probably a top 5 car and then they lost a lug nut in the last pit stop that cost him several positions. Then he gets spun out by a guy that’s not even on the lead lap. Kind of funny listening to the crew chief on the scanner. He says, in regards to the messed up pit stop,: “I’m sure glad we always save that for the last pit stop.” Pure sarcasm. All the rest of their stops had been great all day.
