Hendry County Speedway - Perfection In Dirt Racing

Ken Kenny promised everyone that listened at the preseason gathering, that he would not open Hendry County until the track was RIGHT! He’s struggled through the county’s drainage and restroom issues, finding new clay to improve the racing surface and restless fans wanting answers to question about the future.

Tonight, KARNAC’s “Inside Florida Racing” LIVE talk radio show, will announce that Hendry County Speedway has a NEW Opening Date.

July 18th, 2009 will be opening night, with some special guests, great racing action on that newly manacured surface and one heck of a party for the patient fans of the longtime south Florida speedway.

Practice nights are planned and will be announced also tonight!

So tune into CeCE Brooks and Rob “Bonehead” Elting for all the latest on the rebirth of Hendry County Speedway.

I have a suggestion for a track mascot/logo . It has wings , makes a buzzing sound , and has an unquenchable thirst . Just kidding !
One more race track makes a comeback ! Congrats Ken , i heard how much red tape was involved in getting the place open again . Good luck !
By the way , i thought his name was spelled Kinney .
