if i can get blamed when a track gets rained out because i tried to help one single racer, how much more blame can i get if i help the whole state at the same time?

actually, for the road course stuff there probably isn’t any point in talking directly to the track. you probably need to talk to whichever sanctioning body is running a race that weekend, SCCA or NASCAR or American Superbike or NASA or what have you.

It depends on what you mean about trying to get something done. If you are trying to get something done with the road coarse, drag strip, karting, or motocross than you need to call PBI. There is not one guy. There is a different manager for each track. The sanctioning body’s only get the track when they lease it. The rest of the time it is PBI’s track. The team my son works for leases the road coarse directly fron PBI.

PBI is the most successful track in Florida. Period. They have multipul events everyday of the week and they bring in ten’s of thousands of people every week. Last night for the drag strip test and tune there was about seven thousand people there and that was not counting the karts and motocross that was going on. And this morning there was about 400 cars there for a club car event at 8:00. The place is hopping everday.

Now if you are trying to get them to do something new with an oval, like myself, than do what I do. I call Seven King and PBI at least once a month. They tell me to keep calling back and they will tell the owners. The more people that call the better. They have the money (9 mil) to build an asphalt oval but the county won’t give them a permit unless they 4 lane 710 to the county line. That is another 14 mil. So now it is on hold. I live 10 min from PBI. The closest Oval is CCMP at 2 hrs and 45 min. The next is NSS or Orlando at 3 hrs for me.

create a reference list where all the short track racers in the state can come here and look up the track and contact info and get their questions answered.

will a Bronson Street Stock be allowed to run Super Stock at OSW? call Carl Green.

what’s the payout for Auburndale’s enduro? call Rex Guy. is your car legal for the A-dale enduro? call Ted Head.

what do you need to know to run your Mod Mini or Truck at the big Citrus race? etc.

PBI would like to build a 1/2 mile track that would have the ability to handle ARCA and Nationwide type races. Seven Kings has put over 30 mil in the track since they bought is seperating the road coarse from the drag strip so they can run both tracks on the same day. The place is beautiful. Right now they putting in a huge complex of race shops and bays to lease to the racing public to house the there race teams.

9 mil don’t go as far down here is S. Florida as it does in north of us. Heck, I just completed a 33000 sq ft house that sold for 27 mil. Cash. The lot was 9 mil for about 2 acers. You have to remember that Jupiter Island it the richest zip code world.

I will get you the name and number of the guy’s that runs the road coarse and the drag strip for your reference list. Thanks for the list.

Right now I have to get the car ready for Hendry Co this weekend. Hope to see some of you there.

It will interesting to see if the new owners have the pull to get an oval track built . The local officials were not having any part of any oval being built when it was Moroso . Laura South apparently just gave up .
