My Apology

To everyone who has sent in press releases this week, I am sorry if I was late getting them up or not at all. I have been having nothing but doctor visits this week and found out that I need knee replacements, must reduce my stress and have no Vitamin D in my body at all. So I have been just slightly off and also Bright House’s new Lightning internet has given us nothing but problems. I hate it and it is suppose to be the best and the fastest.

We also saw Alex’s doctor yesterday and now he needs a 3 D cat scan of his foot. The wonder boot is not really working and he is still in alot of pain therefore another kind of cat scan. If he has to have surgery, I will put mine off since I can’t take care of him when my knees don’t work. Dr. Helmy is saying that we may have to fuse the whole foot together therefore it will not work at all. Guess he will always walk with some kind of limp or something.

Dr. Helmy is also the doctor who said he does not want anyone else doing surgery on me but him so I know who will do my surgery. For now they have me on pain meds, anti-inflamatory pills that I have to take Zantac 150 with or they will eat a whole in my stomach, and some stronger stress pills. Dr. Page says I must cut down my stress but that is alittle hard to do with me but I will try.

Anyway, I am sorry if I did not get your release up on time or not at all. This has just been a very bad week for me but I will try and do better next week.

Jane

Jane, please know that I am praying for you and Alex.

Hang in there, Jane, you are overdue for a break.

Jane…

you dont owe us an apology. you do plenty. but now you have to focus on you and Alex… will be hoping and praying for both of you.

You don’t owe anyone an apology. That is the last thing you should worry about, take care of yourself and Alex before you start worrying about this. If you don’t get the press releases nothing will happen, but if you don’t take care of your self you can get worse and then there will be no press releases at all.

Jane, when the owners of Ocala Speedway decided to give me time off from my duties there in response to my diagnosis with cancer, I at first took it a little personally and saw it as a “no confidence” vote. Many doctor appointments and a round of chemo later and I realize why they did what they did. And with more chemo plus the start of daily radiation treatments on Monday, I’m thankful that they did it! Sometimes we think we are tougher than we really are, and sometimes it takes someone else to remind us that we are not as tough as we think. So don’t apologize, and don’t feel guilty for not living up to your own expectations of yourself. Put yourself and your health first, then worry about the rest of the stuff.

Jane, Nice of you to think about others while undergoing health issues. That speaks volumes about your character ! Hang in there, your karnac friends will support you 100%.

Best wishes, EZ
