I just wanted to say that it was wonderful getting to see Jack Smith at the Charity Truckers 200 last night at Orlando Speedworld. I made it a point to come down from the tower and say hello to Jack, mainly because when my own battle with cancer became public Jack was the first to ring my phone and offer words of support, and that meant a lot to me. And Jack has continued to offer words of encouragement, plus suggestions and such, despite his own situation. My only regret from last night is that we didn’t have more time to talk before the race began and I had to be back up in the tower. Thanks for coming out to the race, Jack, and we hope to see you again real soon at another event!
