Two dates I have found for this type of racing coming up real soon;
-Fort Wayne, Indiana–Dec31st-Jan 1st----(The Rumble)
-Tulsa, Oklahoma–Jan 11th-15th----------(The Chili Bowl)
If anyone catches one, or both of these events, do tell. I remember Buffalo, NY used to host an indoor arena event like this in the past. Seems more of cold-weather states that host these events, but Florida has a few domes/arenas that could do the same, like Orlando, Daytona, Tallahassee, Tampa, Naples, and Miami.
I doubt if this type of race promotion would catch on, and bring full fields and crowds.

There was an indoor go cart track that was set up really nice several years ago and I believe they did some type of competitive cart racing in there. I think it was called MOCART or something like that.
Area Auto Racing News promotes the Gambler?s Classic, which is scheduled for Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, N.J., on Jan. 27-29, 2011, and the Coffee Cup, which is scheduled at the Dunkin? Donuts Center in Providence, R.I., on Feb. 5, 2011. These are for TQ-Midgets, mini-sprints, champ Karts, Slingshots, etc.
I saw the TQ’s at the Providence Civic center last year. Good shows both nights. David Reuttiman and Davey Hamilton were the “names” that appeared. I think they put a 48 car limit on entries.
