27 ex Nascar Cup cars and V8 StockCar Series late models and GTA stock cars are entered for next weekends’ “Walter Mitty” with Historic Sports Car Racing at
Road Atlanta. More than 300 cars are entered in all the groups, including many of the most famous cars from IMSA Camel GT, ALMS, Trans Am, Nascar and other series. This is a huge spectator event with a good following.
The V8 Series will have its’ stock Car and GT group there competing.
Most of the Cup type cars are very well driven and have recent type cup motors with over 800 HP. They reach around 175 mph before braking for RA’s
thrilling turn 11-12 complex with an elevation change of nearly 100’.
NSS racer Bobby Kennedy will be there competing in our ex ASA/Delco Series type
stocker powered by a carbureted Chevy LS1.
