Our 86 Monte Carlo 305 is chewing up the alternator and power steering belts.
Anybody have any ideas of what to do?
Also does anyone know where I can find the Gatorback Goodyear belts?
I can’t find them anywhere.

Aside from the obious rotten and cracked used belts or looseness(also too tight): Out of alignment of the pulleys or wrong “V” in the pulley(s) for that type belt. Loose brackets can contribute. Of course, if you are turning a massive amount of RPM, anything can happen.
If Racing in a circle, we never used an alternator belt anyhow.
