Why wont the team slate you a couple races in the trucks til the end of the season?

My daughter is having spine surgery on the 23rd of this month, recovery is going to take awhile & I dont want to be to far away, & I want to get some seat time before taking on the next challenge, plus the truck starts are for a low budget team that does not run up front, & still want to be racing locally.
