Looking for a little help

Alright, I’ll try to make a long story short here. My name is Kevin Fitzpatrick Jr. (21 Y.O. UCF student) and i ran mini stocks at volusia from 03-07 (Blue and black #14 Pinch-A-Penny car, 4th place points my last year) and then had to quit due to money and health issues with my dad. Unfortunately my dad, Kevin Fitzpatrick Sr. aka crew chief, engineer, set-up specialist, engine tuner, etc… (you get the point) passed away in 2009. I’ve been around racing all my life thanks to him, but I dont know how to do everything on the car that he use to. I’m trying to get my mini stock ready for the oct 7th race at VSP after setting aside some funds, but I have a bunch of questions about set ups, swapping out the rear gears, and a tranny issue im having after trying to put it back in myself. I don’t need anyone to do the work for me, just someone with some experience that could guide me what to do on the car. It’s been tough getting back into racing without the help of my dad, but im dedicated to “get back on the horse” and finally continue doing what i love. If there is anyone in the UCF or Lake County area that would be willing to lend a hand I would be very grateful. I’d be able to compensate for fuel costs.

Thanks for reading through all that, I don’t know if this is the place to be asking or not but its worth a shot. I probably left out some important points, so if you have any questions feel free to ask. Again, not looking for someone to do the work for me, pity, or financial help. Just some good ole’ knowledge!
