I just got a note from Lou White telling me that Johnny is not doing well at all and even stopped breathing Sunday Night (his 71st) birthday. Lou at put him to bed and had gone to pick up a few things and went into the bedroom and found him not breathing and blue. She did CPR, got 911 there very fast, and they took him to the hospital. He has double pneumonia in both lungs in different places and it does not look good.
I have known Johnny and Lou for many years and she has been his caregiver for longer than most people would do it. She loves Johnny and they have been married for 43 years.
Lou has put everything in God’s hands but prayers never hurt. I have never known any woman as dedicated to her husband as Lou White. Johnny has had Parkinson’s for a very long time now and they have been thru more than most of us will ever know.
Please add Lou and Johnny White to your prayers. And yes, this has everything to do with racing as Johnny White was a racer.
